Cost Reduction and Quality Improvement: While working as a Plant Manager, achieved significant cost savings through weekly cost of poor-quality meetings that reduced customer returns by 50%, eliminated external inspection, and reduced rework rates. Successfully improved key production metrics, such as On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) and rework rate, resulting in consecutive months of goal attainment.  Achieved Plant records of lowest COPQ % month, highest volume production day & month, lowest DART rate, 100% OTIF for 15 consecutive months, lowest rework rate%, and fewest customer complaints.

Safety and Operational Excellence: Led a proactive safety culture as an Operations Manager, driving down OSHA recordables and achieving the lowest 12-month Days Away, Restricted, or Transferred (DART) rate. Implemented downtime tracking and analysis to identify top losses, leading to substantial OEE improvements and productivity gains.  P&L accountability for production, building and grounds, and maintenance cost centers totaling $1.2M annually.  Introduced various 5S, root cause analysis, and other LSS tools to generate 15% OEE improvement over prior year.  Maintained audit-ready facility which continuously scored 95% on all customer, third-party certifications, and governmental food safety and quality audits.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: As a Production Supervisor, executed Lean Six Sigma projects that eliminated waste and reduced raw material spend by $50M annually.
